Abstract Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) and common carp (Cyprinus carpio) represent the most important fish species for intensive cultivation in warn, water. Both species are characterized by resistant to poor water quality and diseases, to learn of a wide range of environmental conditions, ability to convert efficiently organic domestic and agricultural wastes into high quality animal protein, good growth rates and availability to intensive culture Hafez (1991). This study aimed to investigate the effect of feeding rate and application of aeration on growth performance, water quality and abundance of natural food in tanks stocked with common carp (Cyprinus carpio) ”Mabrouk Aadi” and Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) ”Bolti nilli”. |
