Abstract The Present Work Is Planned To Study The Effect Of : I)Drying In Gelation Discs On Some Fungal Strains. 2)Storage In Sterile Distilled Water On Some Fungal Strains. 3)Lyophilization On Some Fungal Strains . Production Of Tempeh ( Fermented Food) From Soybean And Broad Bean Using Rhizopus Aligos-Porus Caim 182 , Is Also Discussed. It Is Concluded That The Best Method For Long Term Preservation Of Fungal Strains Is In Sterile Distilled Water. The Preservation Of Fungi Using Drying In Gelatin Discs Method Gives The Same Results As Lyophilization Method. |
