Abstract
The present study is designed to find out the genetic behaviour of the chemical components of sesame seeds (oil and protein) and the relation between oil content and some morphological chasacters (weight of 1000 seeds, number of capsules per plant and number of branches per plant). The inheritance of oil percentage is studied in three crosses, Giza 24xHindi, Amortaba x Quarein late light and Giza 23xHindi. The inherifance of protein content is studied in three crosses represented in Giza 24xGiza 23 Hindi x Giza 23 and Quarein late light amortaba.
