Abstract The present study aims to isolate she causative organism and study its ability to infect different potato varieties. An attempt is made to study the rhizosphere microbial flora antagonism between some rhizosphere microbial flora and streptomyces scabies. The relation between chemical analysis of tubers of different varieties and its susceptibility to common scab is investigated. Enzymatic activity of some strains of S. scabies is explained. Moreover, the effect of vitamins on the growth, sugar consumption and yield factor of different strains of S.scabies is studied. |
