Abstract
This investigation was carried out at the newly reclaimed loamy soil of west samalout district,El-minia governorate ,during 1993 and 1994 seasons to studythe effect of two varieties and the combination between nitrogen levels and organic manure on growth ,yield and its components as well as protein content of corn.
The experiment was arranged in a split plot design with four replications ,the two varietiey i.e. single cross 10and three way cross 310 were randomly allocated in the main plots ,whereas the combination between N levels and organic manure i.e.(45 kg N/fed.,20 m3 sewage sludge, 20 m3
Farmyard manure ,90kg N/eed.,135kg N/fed.,180kg N/fed., 90 kg N/fed. +20 m3sewage sludge ,90kgN/fed.+20 m3 Farmyard manure,135kgN/fed.+20 m3 sewage sludge and 135kgN/fed.+20 m3farmyard manur occupied the sub plots .all agriculture practices as recommended by ministry of agriculture were applied.
