Abstract
Two field experiments were conducted at faculty of agriculture, Minia university in 1992/1993 and 1993/1994 seasons to study the effect of furrowing rates (50,60and 70cm between rows),planting faba bean in side or sides /row and spacing between hills (10,15,and 20 cm)on weed characters , growth ,yield and its componemt characters on faba bean .A split-split plot design with four replications was applied . three furrowing rates 50,60,70cm in main plots , planting on one or two sided/row in sub-plots .three spacing between hills (10,15,20cm)in sub-sub-plots.
The obtained results could be summarized as follows:
