Abstract
The present investingation were carried out at the faculty of agriculture farm,minia university during 1991and 1992 seasons to study the effect of different intercropping systems of maize and soybean on growth ,yield , yield componenets of each crop ,as well as the efficiency of land utilization under intercropping.
The soil was clay loam .this experiment included six different patterent of combining with two different spaces of maize, i.e.,30 and 60 cm in addition to the pure stand for each crop were as in the material and methods.
