Abstract
The present study is primarily aimed at determining the efficacy of acidifying vagina in cervical tissue softening and ripening, , as demonstrated by easier cervical dilatation and histologic changes in cervical tissue, in rabbits
The study was carried out on ten sexually mature white New Zealand female non-pregnant rabbits supplied by The Medical Research Center, Faculty of Medicine Ain Shams University. The rabbits were comparable in terms of age and body weight (3-3.5 Kg.).
