Abstract

A great deal has been mentioned by many investigators about the increasing shortage of dietary protein in the developing countries, where population is rapidly growing and the possibility of expanding milk production as a protein of the first choice for infants and children still difficult. Many infants depend on commercial formulas as the sole source of nutrients during the first years of life. Therefore, there is a need for producing baby food mixtures of suitable protein quality assay with maximum reliability (accuracy, reproducibility), speed, simplicity and minimum cost which cover all infants nutritional requirements
