Abstract

Benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) is one of the most common diseases in elderly men. About 80% of all men above the age of 40 years suffer from urodynamic consequences of BPH. It mainly develops in the transitional zone of the prostate.
From this research work, we concluded that: 1-prostatic adenocarcinoma occurs in older age than both PIN and BPH. 2- incidence of high grade PIN was higher than low grade PIN. 3-incidence of moderately differentiated prostatic adenocarcinoma was higher than well differentiated prostatic adenocarcinoma and poorly differentiated prostatic adenocarcinoma. 4-there was an association between loss or decreased of E-cadherin and increased gleason grade. 5- there was an association between increased HSP27 expression and increased gleason grade, increasing HSP27 expression was correlated with aggressive behavior of the tumor. 6 an inverse relationship was present between HSP27 expression and E-cadherin expression in prostatic adenocarcinoma.
