Abstract
This work was done to study the effect of castration on the thymus and skeletal muscle of male albino rat at different ages, 80 animals were used at ages 1,5,9 months and one year. They were divided into 8 groups, 4 control and 4 experimental groups ( each group of 10 rats ). The experimental groups were castrated and sacrificed 14 days after castration, then the thymus and skeletal muscle were obtained and examined using some histological and histochemical procedures.
