Abstract This work was carried out on 20 skin biopsies from patients having one of the immunobullous skin diseases. The patients were admitted in dermatology department, Assiut University. The clinical diagnoses of patients were pemphigus (16 cases), bullous pemphigoid (2 cases) and dermatitis herpetiformis (2 cases). Their ages ranged from 20-70 years. The skin specimens were processed through paraffin and frozen techniques to study the histopathology and immunopathology of these diseases. paraffin and frozen sections were subjected simultaneously for immunofluorescent investigation. |
