Abstract The tendency to recurrence after removal of nasal polypi is a common problem in management of such cases. This study dealt with 15 patients with recurrent nasal polypi aiming to evaluate te role of some recent modalities (CT scan and Sinoscoopy) and the role of radical surgery (eithmoidectomy) in management of recurrent nasal polypoisis. Radiological evaluation of recurrent nasal polypi: This study considered that CT scan is much superior to conventional imaging in evaluation of cases with recurrent nasal polyposis and agreed with the opinion of Davidson et al. (1989) who found lack of concordance between plain x-rays and CT findings and considered that x-rays cannot provide the plan view of ethmoid labyrinth of CT. |
