Abstract The ability to identify benign lesions in the adrenal gland is important because accurate diagnosis of a benign lesion can eliminate further follow-up studies or biopsy, which is associated with its own false-negative rate and potential complications. Adrenal Adenomas, Metastasis, Carcinomas and pheochro-mocytomas are the most important lesions to be differentiated from each other, as they are more common and overlapping adrenal legion? When excluded it become easier to characterize other adrenal gland lesions by their special characteristics with or without clinical data. |
