Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the expression of MIB1 in
cholesteatoma from children and adults in order to establish their
proliferation behavior.
-This study comprised 32 patients suffering from C.S.O.M with
cholesteatoma divided into 2 groups: Group I included sixteen patients
under the age of 15 years. Group II included sixteen patients over the
age of 20 years.
All patients of the study were subjected to appropriate surgery.
The expression of Ki-67 epithelial marker in cholesteatoma matrix
and deep meatal skin in both groups were studied.
