Abstract
Clinical experiance & practices emphasized that accurate registration of centric relation at the correct vertical dimension of occlusion should be achieved for prosthetic rehabilitation of edentulous patients . Controversles have persisted over the years on the accurate position of the condyles in the glenoid fossa at centric relation possition , in theis study it is concluded that
1) the accurate location of the condyles in the glenoid fossa at centric relation position should be defined seperately in the right and left joints as the two sides differs in the muscle tones according to chewing preferences patterns .
