Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the loading effect of two different designs of mandibular Kennedy’s class 1 RPD used for rehabilitation of periodontally compromised abutments treated with a combination of Lactide / Glycolide absorbable membrane and bioactive glass ceramics .Twelve patients were selected for this study with certain criteria .Each patient had the remaining mandibular biscuspid or biscuspid abutments are periodontally compromised with clinical and radiographic evidence of angular osseous defects . According to the treatment regimen, the selected patients were divided after the surgical phase into two groups , each comprising six patients .
