Abstract
This investigation was carried out during 1991 and 1992 seasons on 15-years old head trained Red Roomy grapevines grown at Abo Flew on the eastern side of River Nile cross to Minia city (about 245 Km southern Cairo), The objective of the experiment was studying the effect of Mepiquat chloride (Mp-Cl) at concentrations of 0.0, 250, 500 and 750 ppm, and urea at the concentrations of 0,0. 0.25, 0.50 and 1.0%, with or without magnesium sulphte at l.O% or/and boric acid at 0.1%, on some vegetative and fruiting characteristics of Red Roomy grapevines.
It is worth to mention that the obtained results in the
two experimental seasons reacted almost similarly without major differences and taKing the same trend regarding most of the studied characters.
