Abstract The present study was conducted to compare the two visits non vital pulpotomy clinically and histologically of the three different materials . Pupotomies were conducted on 126 non-vital second mandibular deciduous molars which were divided into three groups : GP. I : 43 teeth were treated by 1/5 diluted formocresol . GP. II : 42 teeth were treated by camphorated parachlorophenol . GP. III : 41 teethw ere treated by pulperyl . Clinical procedures : A two visits non-vital pulpotomy was performed on each tooth under local anesthesia, At the first visit one of the medicaments were sealed over the pulp stumps and covered by temporary dressing (IRM), at the same time the bifurcation area was curetted to drain and clean the area from any exudate. |
