Abstract
The aim of this work , was to collect epidemiological data on head injured children admitted to the main University Hospital , casuality department the major referral center for trauma in the city of Alexandria for a period of five years , starting from January 1st 1977 to 31 December, 1991.
from this study it was found that the cause of trauma plays an important role on the mortality
Road accidents had the higest mortality rate followed by home and school accidents.
