Abstract

This study deails to detect the early damage of proximal renal tubules in both types od diabetes mellitus by determination of retinol-blinding protein in urine so as to prevent irreversible renal damage which may complicate diabetes mellitus .Also, a comparative study was done between retinol-blinding protein and microalbuminuria in these diabetic patients .
