Abstract
Over a period of two years from August 1989 to August 1991, patients attending the dermatology outpatient clPnic in Shibin El Kom Educational Hospital in 61 Menoufiya Governorate were examined, out of 20779 examined cases, 40 cases (0.13%) were diagnosed as’ cutaneous leishaaniasis on clinical basis. They were 37 males and 3 females, their ages ranged from 6-45 years with the mean age of 29.9. In spite of the residence of these patients in El Menoufiya Governorate all of them gave history of traveling to endemic countries of cutaneous Ieishmaniasis.
