Abstract
Repair optimization of water structure and analysis design methods have
become widely accepted among structural engineers, researches and
increasingly acknowledged among practicing engineers, also the rehabilitation
concepts are better understood than before.
This study discusses repairing different elements of Zifta barrage by various
material and methodology techniques, leading to various repair options and their
associated costs were developed. The optimum life time repair strategy is found
by examining all feasible combinations of these options and considering the
service life of Zifta barrage.
