Abstract
This thesis is made in order to compare tooth—base bond strength of cross—linked, and non cross—linked acrylic resins.Materials used were;—I— Two types of acrylic teeth:1— Non cross—linked. (Newacryl)2- Cross-linked (Acry Rock)II— Four types of denture base resins:1— Two cold—cure:a) Non cross—linked (Duracryl)b) Cross-linked(Biofast)2- Two heat—cure:a) Non cross—linked (Superacryl)bJ Cross-f Inked (fa for Base)Nethods and procedures:Standard specimens were prepared for water sorption and solubility testing, and for tensile strength testing. Specimens for: shear strength. were’ prepared accgrding to El-Darwish specification, and those for.torsiónai testing were prepared according to Hosney specification, because there is no standard specification for tooth—base bond strength testing in shear and torsion
