Abstract
The present work was designed to study the clinical and electroencephalographical findings in patients with generalized epilepsy in order to get an idea about therelative frequency of various types of generalized epilepsy in alexanderia the clinical and electroencephalographalographic manifestations in each type and to detect the relation between the sura and the epileptic focus as found in the EEG .
The material comprised 100 patients suffering from generalized epilepsy they were selected randomly from the neuropsychiatry out patient clinic .
