Abstract The young child has certain biological characteristics that make him particularly susceptible to various health problems. He is rapidly growing and has comparatively nutritional needs. especially proteins and essential amino acids more than older children and adults. The main health problems of many developing countries, par’ticular’ly in rural communities. are usually concentrated among infants and young childr’en as they live in unhealthy environments and ar’e exposed to different illnesses.
