Abstract
The work in this text is presented into two sections, the first dealing with the different methods used for the synthesis of arylnaphthoxazoles, and the other entails the application of such compounds for the preparation of new dyes.
1- synthesis of arylnaphthoxazoles
A. from aminonaphthols and aromatic aldehydes:
Synthesis of variable arylnaphth [1,2-d] oxazoles were achieved by interaction of 1-amino-2-naphthols with aromatic aldehydes in the presence of a suitable solvent and a basic catalyst.
