The basin om Khashaf wadi is located in the west of Aldiwaneya governorate, and in the south-west of Alnajaf governorate, The where about big basin (80%) of this basin is found in Alnajaf, the rest belonging to Aldiwaneya governorate. The basin located astronomically between the latitudes (44° 24`) and (44° 41`) north, and between longitudes (31° 14`) and (31°30`) east.This thesis consists of 4 chapters, headed by a preface and tailed by a conclusion. The First chapter discuss the natural properties of Wadi Om Khashaf, through the distribution of the geological formations, structure, the geologic history and the terrain characteristics of the area. The study also tackled the slope height, and displaying the most important morphological forms.
