Abstract

Data security is considered one of the most popular technologies in the domain of computer science. This is because of its great importance in all spheres of life-related, whether economic, political and other aspects changed. In this thesis, a new intelligent system that concentrates on image and text encryption and decryption is proposed. For image encryption and decryption a combination of DCT and Sparse representation is used to decrease database loading and then reducing search time. Furthermore, the image recognition rate is increased. XOR operation for colored images encryption and decryption is performed. By calculating PSNR and MSE, the results show that the quality of images after decryption is good. This proves the efficiency of the new proposed intelligent system. In this study, the RSA algorithm is used but in a new technique to encrypt and decrypt text. The proposed technique relies on using square root of public key as private key. The testing results show that it is impossible to get the original information when input wrong private key which provides the protection to the hidden data.
