Abstract
This study conducted in the laboratory of Department of cotton leafworm, plant protection Research Institute, Zagazig, Sharkia Branch to evaluate: Toxicity effect of eight insecticides (chlorpyrifos, emamectin benzoate, lufenuron, imidacloprid, thiacloprid, acetamiprid, indoxacarb and M. ansoplia on S. littoralis, Determination the effect of eight tested insecticides on biological aspects of the 2nd and 4th instars larvae of cotton, leafworm, S. littoralis, Biochemical effects of tested compounds on cotton leafworm, S. littoralis, Determination the side effect of tested insecticides (chlorpyrifos, lufenuron and indoxacarb) on some biological aspects of the green lacewing C. carnea.
Field experiments were carried out in Abn El-Aase, Kafr Sakr region, Sharkia Governorate, Egypt during Cowpea growing seasons of 2013 and 2014 to evaluate the efficiency of nine insecticides against some Cowpea pests and their side effect on C. carnea and Coccinellae spp.
