المستخلص
1- The current research aimed at identifying the effectiveness of a proposed unit based on solving the problems related to intellectual extremism to develop the values of national belonging and critical thinking among students in the preparatory stage. The research instruments: a list of the intellectual extremism dimensions, the preparation of a list of values of national affiliation and a list of critical thinking skills, the preparation of the national affiliation measurement, the test of critical thinking skills. Results of the research: There are statistically significant differences at the level of (≤0.05) between the scores average of the experimental group and the control one in the post application of the national affiliation measurement for the experimental group. There are statistically significant differences at the level of (≤0.05) between the scores average of the experimental group in the pre and the post application of the national affiliation measurement for the post- application. There are statistically significant differences at the level of (≤0.05) between the scores average of the experimental group and the control one in the post application of the critical thinking test for the experimental group There are statistically significant differences at the level of (≤0.05) between the scores average of the experimental group in the pre and the post application of the critical thinking test.
