Abstract
Over the last decade, fascination with the diagnosis of thermal comfort has increased because of environment changes and increased temperature stress in towns. There are various factors that determine the grade of outdoor Spots, the outdoor microclimate can be an important issue. On the other hand with car commuters, pedestrians are directly exposed to their immediate environment in conditions of variations of sun and shade, changes in blowing wind quickness, and other characteristics. Thus people sensation of thermal comfort is greatly damaged by the local microclimate. According to Brown (20l0), many of outdoor urban environments, especially in hot dry countries, tend to be poorly regulated and not thermally comfortable. However, pedestrian thermal comfort levels can be improved once the design of microclimate is considered with the use of appropriate urban interventions that have cooling effects. The research objective is achieving sustainable in outdoor space with measuring the temperatures, humidity and then measuring thermal human comfort from the biological and psychological aspect. In seven chapters, the thesis promotes the above issues in an attempt to deliver the up-to-date concepts and technologies of the 21st century to the architect and remember of those contemporary issues, which may be summarized as follows: 1- Introduction:-General introduction, research problem and research objectives. 2- The Elements of Architecture Landscape:- This chapter discusses the definition of element landscape, the classification of architectural elements of coordination and explain all the elements related with the urban planning. 3- Sustainable Landscaping:-The third chapter discusses the definition of sustainability and sustainable landscaping, then explain the effects of non-sustainable practices and give us solutions of sustainable landscaping 4- Human Comfort:- Human comfort means the state with mind that expresses satisfaction along with the surrounding environment. 5- The Effect of Sustainable Landscaping in Human Comfort:- This chapter explains applications and evaluation thermal human comfort in outdoor space by measuring thermal human comfort to understand the possibility of utilizing outdoor spaces and for the extension of its use. 6- Using (Envi-met) Simulation & Case Studies. In this part we will introduce case study Faculty of Engineering in Assiut University by using computer simulation with ENVI-met tool to evaluate human thermal physiological and psychological factors in outdoor space. 7- Conclusions & Recommendations:- Trying to access thermal human comfort in outdoor space by developing landscape elements and achieving sustainable architecture design in outdoor space.
