Abstract
Background subtraction is an essential part of many computer visions with several applications, as it is applied to distinguish moving objects in many video sequences. A comparative study was conducted for three algorithms to subtract the moving object from background: Frame Difference, Approximate Median Filter and Mixture of Gaussian. The proposed technique of subtraction background was presented to overcome the basic problems related to this technique and how they were studied and overcome and comparative this method and its results before the modification and after the modification and found that the proposed technique work on reduction and contraction resulting ratio of the error. This method has achieved good results.
