Monetary policy is one of the economic policy parts and is a set of procedures and measures used by the monetary authority of the Central Bank to control the money supply, prices and exchange rates to influence the level of economic activity and monitor the performance of banks to control the money supply and achieve sustainable economic growth, The first chapter dealt with monetary policy in Iraq and its tools through four sections, where the first section devoted to the concept of monetary policy and its types, the second section touched on the objectives of monetary policy, the third section discussed tools and methods of monetary policy, and the fourth section the reality of monetary policy in Iraq, The second chapter dealt with monetary policy and tourism development through three sections, where the first section devoted to the concept of tourism development and its importance, and the second section tourism offer in Iraq, and the third section the relationship of monetary policy to tourism development, The third chapter dealt with the field study through three sections, where the first section was devoted to the study methodology, the second topic section analyzed the questionnaire lists and discussed the results, and the third section tested the validity of the study hypothesis, The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important one are creating the legal environment for the work of the Central Bank of Iraq and achieving its goals, and putting tourism development at the top of the priorities of Iraqi monetary policy, And interest in promoting Iraqi tourist destinations in international forums, controlling exchange rates and unifying them between the central bank and the black market, encouraging the private sector to work in tourism projects that contribute to increasing state revenues, reducing unemployment, and supporting foreign exchange, encouraging foreign investment in the tourism sector and. allowing foreign companies to operate in Iraq.
