Abstract
Corrosion is a fundamental process that plays an important role in economy and safety, particularly for metals and alloys. In such respect, the corrosion and corrosion inhibition of carbon steel in different media become very interesting and important subject due to the wide applicability of steel in industry and domestic life. The aim of the present work is to investigate the mechanism of inhibitive effect of Pyridine derivatives toward the corrosion inhibition of carbon steel in 1 M HCl solution.
