The problem of the study: The problem of the study in Dakahlia Governorate is that it is one of the continuous governorates of Egypt in the number of divorced population that keeps pace with the population increase during the study period, poor economic conditions, lack of understanding between spouses, early marriage of minors, lack of rehabilitation programs for those who are about to marry, increasing illiteracy, unemployment, and other Social and economic reasons, in addition to the scarcity of geographical studies on the subject of the study, with the exception of some demographic studies and the characteristics of the marital situation. The interference of parents and relatives between spouses and inaction in addressing early marriage contribute to the aggravation of the phenomenon, and its penalties are not enforced on the authorized and on the parents. Objectives of the study:1- During this study, the student sought to achieve the following objectives:2- Identifying the most important elements of the marital status in Dakahlia governorate, which are represented in the gender, age, marital, educational and economic composition of divorced people in the governorate.3- Shedding light on the change in the size and growth of divorced women during the period from (1976/2017), and through the field study (2018/2020) The importance of the study: The study of the phenomenon of divorce is one of the most important studies that society needs because of its great importance in the development of the entire society, where interest in the phenomenon of divorce and ways to reduce it plays a major role in the success and advancement of society and improving its economic, social and behavioral conditions. Study methods: The regional, fundamentalist, comparative, and behavioral approaches were used. Study sample: The study sample consisted of 1500 questionnaires that were distributed on a regular basis to a sample of divorced people in the governorate Study tools: The student used the ”Arc GIS v.10” program for mapping, in addition to using the Spss V23 program. Statistical methods: The statistical analysis of the data was carried out through the use of a number of tools, including: The computer program used in the statistical analysis Excel 2010. Results: Study assignments have been achieved.
