المستخلص

The administrative building is one of the buildings that indicates the extent of the progress of society. The dministrative building is a unit of society that is inseparable from it, as the style of the administrative building is inseparable from the architectural style prevailing in the community and it may be an independent building and it may be part of a building and in all cases, we should know the best ways to design this Type of buildings. The design of an appropriate environment for the users of the administrative space achieves visual and human comfort, and contributes significantly to increasing productivity and efficiency at work. As studies have shown, the level of lighting is one of the main factors affecting the employees in the administrative space, so the designer should focus on lighting design as much as possible, and at that time relying on natural lighting as much as possible is one of the important factors for rationalizing energy consumption. As Egypt and the whole world are suffering from a major energy crisis. The research also reviews an analytical study of the performance of a number of global systems for sustainable design, and also deals with the Estidama regional assessment system and the Egyptian GPRS assessment system as the local system, by clarifying each system and the elements of achieving its determinants in order to reach the determinants of improving building performance within a specific and comprehensive framework, and then An attempt to reach design trends within the framework of the most important determinants affecting the quality of the internal environment of the building, then an analysis of global, regional and local examples of existing and successful administrative buildings that achieved the LEED standard. Then making an applied study of the study case of the “Building of Clean water and Sewage Company in Dakahlia” building in Mansoura city, by studying the reasons for selection, and conducting a questionnaire by the researcher to study the effects of the internal environment quality on the employees inside the building and increasing the extent of the employees’ satisfaction and comfort to the level of the internal environment quality. The focus was on natural lighting because of its essential role in the administrative space, through a set of its own standards in the LEED V4.1 system for sustainable buildings. It can be used to assess the behavior of daylight inside the spaces and also the use of digital simulation tools that enable the designer to evaluate his design and realize design problems before moving to the implementation phase on the ground.
