“Taking advantage of calligraphy in the plastic structure of humanbody as an approach to enrich contemporary design“. The research aims to achieve the following objectives: 1. Benefiting from the plastic and aesthetic capabilities of the Arabic letters to enrich the contemporary design. 2. Benefiting from the technical and plastic basis of the human body in providing innovative design solutions. 3. Creating plastic formulations resulting from the combination of Arabic letters and the plastic construction of the human body to enrich the design painting using computer techniques (two-dimensional). 4. Reaching for new formulations of Arabic letters that lend their aesthetics to the plastic construction of the human body. This thesis included five chapters as follows: Chapter one: discussed the definition and the subject of the study. Chapter two: explained the calligraphy. Chapter three: discussed the plastic structure of the human body. Chapter four: discussed the computer and its plastic capabilities to create contemporary artistic designs. Chapter five: dealt with the practical aspect of the research, presented the results, recommendations, Arabic and English references. The summary and the abstract of the thesis in both Arabic and English languages have been presented.
