In fact, the specificity of the research objectives imposes on the researcher a broad and flexible methodological framework at the same time. 1- Type of study: Since the current study aims to study the impact of domestic violence on the delinquency of children, so the type of this study is determined in the descriptive study, as the descriptive study undoubtedly aims (and as is evident from its name) to discover the facts, reveal the phenomena, describe them accurately and determine their characteristics. Specifically qualitatively or quantitatively by revealing the previous state of phenomena and how they reached their current form, and trying to predict what they will be in the future. This study is considered one of the field analytical descriptive studies, where such descriptive studies depend on collecting facts, analyzing them and interpreting them to extract their significance to reach generalizations about the problem that the researcher is studying. Since this study is one of the descriptive studies that aim to identify and describe the phenomenon accurately, analyze the results and interpret them, and this type of studies is suitable to highlight the social reality with accuracy, as this study seeks to reveal the impact of domestic violence on the delinquency of children. 2- Study tools: Since it is necessary for there to be consistency and coherence between the methodological framework of the study, and the tools that are used to collect its data, the researcher relied in this study on a main tool: the interview guide as one of the scientific research methods that are widely used in order to obtain data or Information related to people’s conditions, inclinations, tendencies, motives or beliefs, and the interview guide in our research is the main tool used by the researcher to collect information. where the interview is considered the most important tools of scientific research for its contribution to providing deep data about the research problem that the researcher wants to study, and the interview in scientific research is one of the most accurate tools due to the researcher’s ability to discuss the respondent during the interview about the answers he intends to provide, and the interview is one One of the most important methods of collecting data from sample members for the purposes of scientific research; It is related to the research case or the subject of the study, and the interview is not limited to the conversation only, but rather to knowing other aspects of the respondent, such as the expressions, gestures and movements of the respondent. 3- Study sample: When studying it, the researcher cannot do a comprehensive study of all the vocabulary of the research, so he only finds an alternative method that he can rely on, which is to be satisfied with a small number of these vocabulary that he takes within the limits of time, effort and possibilities available to it and starts studying it and generalizing its characteristics to the total and this is called the sample, which is a phrase About the group of individuals who are selected by one of the well-known research methods. As for the research community, it is the largest social group or the more general phenomenon that the researcher hopes to generalize the results of his research, and for this the researcher determined the sample size by choosing (20) cases selected using the intentional sampling method, so that the sample includes a group A variety of heads of families of children who frequent some rehabilitation and psychological counseling centers, and the centers are 5 centers in the great city of Mahalla. This appears on the sons, who are subjected to beatings, violence and humiliation within their families. • The results of the study showed that most of the cases saw violence directed against their mothers, as the mother is exposed to physical violence in most of the families of the study cases, and this result is consistent with the study (Manal Abdullah Omran), which confirms that women are more exposed to domestic violence.
