Abstract In this thesis, we have investigated the mean features of small and large amplitude nonlinear structures propagating in two different systems of space dusty plasma. The thesis consists of four chapters including the introduction. Chapters 2 and 3 are presented by applying the extended Poincare-Lighthill-Kuo (PLK) technique to study the head-on collision between two small amplitude nonlinear dust acoustic (DA) waves and the modified reductive perturbation theory to study the formation and propagation of nonlinear DA rogue waves in strongly coupled dusty plasma medium. Chapter 4 is presented by applying the extended PLK and the Sagdeev pseudopotential techniques to study the small and large amplitude nonlinear DA waves of the quantum dusty plasma system. Chapter 1 provides a brief introduction and overview of the dusty plasma phenomena in nature and some information on recent theoretical applications of dusty plasma studies. |
