In our analysis for the results, LMP7 SNP showed significant association (p - value < 0.01) between the LMP7 genotype and the stage of fibrosis (No - moderate fibrosis or advanced fibrosis) whether using fibroscan or liver biopsy; which indicated that the CC genotype (Wild genotype) is correlated with the moderate fibrosis stage (F0 - F2) and the AA, CA genotype (Mutant genotype) are correlated with the advanced fibrosis stages (F3 - F4). As for the different grades of the necro inflammatory activity among the two groups of fibrosis (No - moderate fibrosis, advanced fibrosis), it revealed that grades A0 and A1 are the most prevalent among the (No - moderate fibrosis) group (F0 - F2), however Grade A3 is the most prevalent among the advanced fibrosis group. Thus, there is a statistically significant association (P value < 0.05) between the Necro Inflammatory activity and the stage of fibrosis
