The study sought to identify the social and psychological effects of kidney failure disease among young people, the most important causes and symptoms of kidney failure disease, the extent of the effect of kidney failure disease on the patient, and an attempt to reveal the most important social and psychological problems, the extent of the impact of kidney failure disease on the patient and his peers, and the most important difficulties that affect the patient during The dialysis session, the youth’s future outlook, and the most important efforts of the state towards this disease. The researcher used the analytical descriptive approach, in line with the objectives of the current study and its basic questions, and she used the case study tool through in-depth interviews with some selected cases of young patients with kidney failure, whose number reached thirty cases. The study was launched using the structural-functional theory and some theories explaining depression as the most appropriate theories and visions for the study. It was clear from the results of the field study that the symptoms of kidney failure are summarized in: high blood pressure, a feeling of vomiting, general pain in the bones, water pooling in parts of the body, loss of appetite and swelling of the body. And the feeling of lethargy, headache, and general weakness in the body Social and psychological problems, including: feelings of loneliness, isolation, fear, depression, lack of confidence in oneself and others, as well as the existence of some economic problems due to the increase in treatment and living costs.
