المستخلص

The aim of the current research is to develop the skills of using educational technologies necessary to confront the global Corona crisis among middle school teachers in the State of Kuwait by developing a remote training platform based on open source and interactive web applications. The researcher used the descriptive approach to prepare the theoretical framework and measurement tools, and the experimental approach to conduct an experiment The research sample consisted of (60) middle school teachers in Kuwait, and they were placed in two experimental groups of (30) teachers for each group, while the skills of using educational technologies were represented in the skills (electronic content production - electronic test production - research Databases), and the measurement tools were (achievement test - note card) that were applied before and after, and after conducting statistical analyzes, the results of the research showed: There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the two experimental groups in (the cognitive side - the performance side) in favor of the group’s post application The second trial, which was studied with a remote training platform based on open source and interactive web applications, and the research ended with a comprehensive presentation A set of recommendations, including the need to prepare electronic training environments and professional development platforms for teachers in the State of Kuwait, and in the end a set of proposed research extracted from the results of the research was presented.
