Abstract
The objective of this study is directed ti investigate the effect of gamma radiation (Chapter I) and exogenous applications, with different concentrations, of GA3. ABA or coumarin (Chapter II) as foliar spraying treatments (Exp. I) or seed presoaking treatments (Exp. II), throughout the experimental stages of growth of vicia faba plants in two successive seasons (93/1994and94/1995). This study dealt with the growth criteria, pigment contents, photosynthetic activity, carbohydrates, proteins and endogenous hormones. During the harvest, the yield and yield attributes were determined in the treated and untreated plants.
