Abstract For years, ebusiness is seen by experts as one of the major driving forces for information technology. One of the most promising application areas for mobile agents is ebusiness. Even though the advantages of mobile agent technology are quite straightforward, a major prerequisite, before the agent paradigm will be widely used in ebusiness applications, is achieving security. ?Securing Mobile Agents Against Malicious Hosts? problem is the most important security problem in mobile agents. How can we secure the computation privacy for mobile code from the machine executes it? How can mobile agents keep secrets they carry from the host processes them? There are some approaches for solving this problem. But, most of them are partial solutions. The thesis explains these approaches, and tries to provide some contribution by introducing a new technique for securing mobile agents against malicious hosts. |
