Abstract

The present study revealed that the appeared un-chiseled land during leveling by implementing a group of developed unit ended with a set of chisels in front of the scraper. This group of blade shanks is fixed on a steel rectangular cross section bar, which in turn fitted on the both sides. The working depth of this developed unit is 21 cm deeper than the scraper blade to ensure soil disturbance before leveling. The objectives of the present work may be summarized as following :(1)Constructing a developed unit in front of scraper to be used in laser land leveling in the Egyptian farms.(2)Perfection of the develop laser land-leveling scraper was done taking into consideration both accuracy and efficiency. (3)Evaluating surveying grid of land leveling after irrigation. The main experiment was carried out in clayey soil. The experimental area was about 8 feddans divided into 4 plots (2 feddans each). The high power tractor (Massey Ferguson (MF2608), 99.36kw) was operated in four experimental plots with Rugby320SG transmitter, and LASER scraper at zero slope in the first plot with digging depths (10-15cm). However, LASER scraper at zero slope was used in the second plot with digging depths (18-21cm).In the third plot, the LASER scraper was used at 0.03 % slope with digging depths (10-15cm), while in the fourth plot the LASER scraper was used at 0.03 % slope with digging depths (18-21cm). Four digging depths under blade scraper (10, 15, 18, and 21 cm), four tractor operating speeds at gears (G1high (3.45 km/h), G2 low(4.19 km/h), G2 high (4.86 km/h) and G3 high (5.53 km/h) and two slopes zero and 0.03% slope level (3cm per 100m lengthy) were used for the experimental work . The main results obtained from the experiments may be summarized under the following : (1) Precision leveling using laser leveling thus will not only save precious irrigation water but will also help achieve high water use efficiency through more uniform water application.(2) It was clear that the higher mean weight diameter value of 14.78 and 14.23mm, at 0.03% slope compared to that small mean weight diameter, 12.7 and 13.07mm, at zero level. It was better soil pulverization because adding developed unit of the laser scraper.(3) In general, total draft increased with the increase of digging depths. While corresponding pull decreased with the increase of operating speed at different (G1 high (3.45 km/h), G2 low (4.19 km/h), G2 high (4.86 km/h and G3 high 5.53 km/h) under different digging depths. (4) Drawbar power increased with the increase of operating speed at gears (G1 high (3.45 km/h), G2 low (4.19 km/h), G2 high (4.86 km/h and G3 high 5.53 km/h) under different digging depths the highest power as a result of increasing the speed improved the soil mean diameter and the soil pulverization ratio and soil resistance . The lowest value for drawbar power may be due to jumping of LASER land leveling scraper at this stage from final leveling with using high speed at gears (G2 high and G3 high) under maximum fuel consumption and found special conditions for operating developed unit with scraper
