Abstract
The present study deals with the geomorphological features coastal and inland primary structures, sedimentological, mineralogical and geochemical characteristics of the lake Burullus area. This lake is situated at the northern part of the Nile Delta stretching between both Nile branches and connected to the Mediterranean Sea by Al - Burg inlet and separated from it by a long curving sand barrier. Geomorphological Features of Lake Burullus Coastal Area : Lake Burullus area exhibits several landforms characteristic for marine. aeolian and riverine processes. These include ; shore landforms, lake landforms, aeolian landforms and riverine landforms.
